OtherWisz Creative Corporation is the award-winning design team led by Mark and Jill Wisz. Founded in 2000 as a sole proprietorship, OtherWisz Creative initially served local Buffalo companies with identity design packages and brochure websites. Incorporating in 2004, the studio expanded services to include exhibit design, to specialize in custom-designed, content-driven websites, and to include exhibit design as well as branding and marketing services to large, international businesses.

With 30 years experience in the design profession, 20 of which focused on internet development, Mark Wisz was an early proponent of pursuing Internet communications as a valuable marketing tool. Those years in the design trenches included publishing the independent, local street ‘zines Sign O’ The Times and Slack magazine.
It is Mark’s creativity, experience and vast knowledge of design production that provides OtherWisz Creative with the balance to successfully design big solutions. Mark is also currently teaching Website Design @ Buffalo State College as an Adjunct Instructor.
Known for her attention to detail, Jill has been exploring environmental design solutions for over twenty years. As Creative Director, Jill’s role at OtherWisz Creative is primarily in the investigative, research and development stages of marketing solutions.
A solutions designer, Jill Wisz enjoys the investigative nature of design, putting the problem solving techniques of her architectural studies to use exploring the creative nature of usability and design process.
Athena is a recent graduate from SUNY Fredonia. While in school, Athena spent her time exploring the possibilities of design, and focusing on her love of print by creating books, posters, and logos. She spent her first few months post grad working as the resident design intern for the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Arts, were she designed and fabricated signage for their galleries and events. She also had the opportunity to work closely with the marketing department to create both print and web advertisements.
Athena enjoys cooking, hiking, and making books. She is always looking for opportunities to be creative and learn something new.
Allison is a recent graduate from Villa Maria College. During her time in school, Allison explored various areas of design including print, digital, branding, and more.
She became very involved in web design during her senior internship. For her senior project she explored visual branding with a combination of web, E-commerce, and print design. In her free time Allison enjoys attending concerts, watching horror movies, and spending time with her friends and family.
Jimmy is a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia with a BFA in Graphic Design. They are interested in exploring many different ways of visualizing ideas. Jimmy’s artistic process is grounded in thorough investigation and experimentation in order to reach an appropriate solution. For Jimmy, observing the world and drawing are essential; keeping a personal sketchbook allows them to maintain a visual record of their thoughts and ideas.
