Buffalo, NY – OtherWisz Creative principals and husband and wife team Mark and Jill Wisz have announced their full-service creative studio has relocated to a 4,000-square-foot space on the fourth floor of the Gutman Building at 19 Elm Street in downtown Buffalo. Previously, OtherWisz Creative was located in a 1,600-square-foot renovated barn in Buffalo’s Elmwood Village.

The studio’s phone number remains the same: 716.882.3803

“Moving downtown gives us a space that is no less unique, and provides additional square footage to further expand our business as we acquire and serve our national clients.”

The new, larger space will allow OtherWisz to design and construct oversized exhibits onsite, meet with larger groups of clients and accommodate its expanding staff and growing business. The studio recently added several out of state clients, most notably, Benson Industries of Portland, Oregon.

“Our business continually adapts to the changing needs of our growing client base and new available technologies,” says Jill Wisz, president of the woman-owned small business. “Our previous studio was a convenient location that reflected our personal nature and suited us well for the past 18 years, but it was time for a change.”

“Moving downtown gives us a space that is no less unique, and provides additional square footage to further expand our business as we acquire and serve our national clients,” adds Mark Wisz, vice president and art director.

Built in the early 1900s, the Gutman Building originally housed a trouser factory. The building was purchased by Bates Jackson Printers and Engravers in 1910; in 1919, the trouser business closed. Gallagher Elevator moved into the building in the late 1940s, and in 2012, a local developer purchased the building.

Both Bates Jackson and Gallagher continue to utilize space in the building. OtherWisz Creative is located on the fourth floor, where Bates Jackson’s engraving presses were previously located.

Current OtherWisz clients include Boston Valley Terra Cotta; Rigidized Metals; Benson Industries; Pegula Sports & Entertainment; Urban Roots; Joe’s Deli; Jack Hunt Coin Brokers; University at Buffalo School of Management and the Cheektowaga Police Department.
