Jan 1, 2025 — OtherWisz Creative is celebrating a milestone anniversary as an award-winning, multi-disciplinary creative studio. For a quarter century, the woman-owned agency has been helping other businesses and organizations in Western NY thrive, specializing in web design, brand identity, environmental design, and marketing services. OtherWisz is proud to have earned its reputation over the years for delivering creative solutions that resonate with both the client and their target audience.
OtherWisz Creative was founded in 2000 as a sole proprietorship by Mark Wisz, an experienced graphic artist and web designer. Mark initially focused on clients in need of website marketing services — primarily small businesses left behind by mismanaged startups during the dotcom bust — helping to kickstart them with custom-made websites and brand identity development.
Bringing her expertise in architecture and interior design, Jill Wisz joined Mark in 2002, expanding their services to include exhibit and installation design. Her role as President led to the incorporation of the company in 2004, while the business grew to provide complete marketing solutions to large and international corporations as well as local businesses and non-profits.

Whether it’s through user-friendly websites, impactful branding, or strategic marketing, our small team is committed to high-quality, results-driven creativity that supports our clients’ success,” said Jill Wisz, President and CEO.
In 2018, the studio relocated to a renovated print shop overlooking Downtown Buffalo, NY. With offices where the engraving presses once sat, the OtherWisz Creative team develops dynamic and effective designs to successfully draw attention to a client’s brand. Together, the team’s knowledge and experience are comprised of many facets of visual communications, including graphic design, branding, marketing, web design, illustration, animation, social media, event marketing, environmental graphics and exhibit design.
Over the years, OtherWisz Creative has worked with local and national businesses of all sizes, as well as many local non-profit organizations, and has built a strong portfolio that spans diverse industries: architecture, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, food service, real estate, law, and community-based services. Some of the studio’s most notable projects have included designing comprehensive identity systems, websites with custom features, and large-scale exhibit displays — each tailored to raise brand visibility and engage audiences. Notable clients have included: Boston Valley Terra Cotta, Literacy Buffalo Niagara, the Buffalo Sabres, Rigidized Metals, the University of Buffalo, Kaleida Health, Hope’s Windows Inc., and The Collins Companies.
