Collins — a prominent lumber company with extensive forests in Oregon, California, and Pennsylvania partnered with OtherWisz for a comprehensive website redesign to modernize and enhance its digital presence. When Collins decided to enhance its digital presence, they turned to OtherWisz for a complete website redesign for both the Collins main corporate website, and TruWood® Siding & Trim. The goal was to create platforms that not only showcased their extensive range of wood products, but also reflected their core values and long-standing commitment to sustainability and community.

High-quality images of the forests, lumber products and personnel were taken during numerous on-location photoshoots to give the sites an authentic, first-hand view of what Collins has to offer. We designed visually appealing product pages that effectively showcase the company’s diverse range of wood products.
Employee safety and well-being are important to Collins. We included a new Careers page that highlights their commitment to a safe and rewarding work environment. Easy to read icons were developed and testimonials from employees provide a personal touch, illustrating the company’s supportive culture and benefits.
In addition to the Collins website, a separate website was developed for TruWood® Siding & Trim, their most popular product line. This site now aligns with the Collins brand and navigation between the two sites ensures continuity and recognition. Notably, the OtherWisz team created a step-by-step manufacturing process illustration to clearly demonstrate how TruWood® products are sustainably made. Best practices in SEO were implemented for both websites to enhance visibility and attract a wider audience, ensuring that the company remains competitive in the digital landscape.
