our history
OtherWisz Creative was founded in 2000 as a sole proprietorship by Mark Wisz, an experienced graphic designer and web designer. Mark initially focused on clients in need of marketing services — primarily small businesses left behind by mismanaged startups during the dotcom bust — helping to kickstart them with brand identity development and custom-made websites.
Bringing her expertise in architecture and interior design, Jill Wisz joined Mark in 2002, expanding their services to include exhibit and installation design. Her role as President led to the incorporation of the company in 2004, while the business grew to provide complete marketing solutions to large and international corporations as well as local businesses and non-profits.
In 2018, the studio relocated to a renovated print shop overlooking Downtown Buffalo, NY. With offices where the engraving presses once sat, the OtherWisz team develops dynamic and effective designs that draw attention to a client’s brand. Together, our team’s knowledge and experience is comprised of many facets of visual communications, including graphic design, branding, architecture, marketing, web design, illustration, animation, social media, event marketing, and exhibit design.
Now certified by the City of Buffalo, Erie County, and New York State as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), OtherWisz is now in its 25th year.
